Spinnakers allowed for Finnish Folkboats in Gold Cup
In a recently found appendix for the Gold Cup statutes a previously unnoticed amendment has been brought to our attention. Paragraph 1.4 states that ” whenever and if the Gold Cup is sailed in Finland the boats sailing under Finnish flag may use spinnakers” Paragraph 1.4 also states that this ”rule is in force if the Gold Cup is sailed on the first day of the fourth month in any given year”
Have a nice April 1st !
